A Challenging and Exciting Career with CVI

CVI's staff of full-time investigators conducts insurance claims investigations, many of which contain elements of serious fraud. Such claims may involve staged car accidents, exaggerated workers' compensation injuries, phony thefts and fake death claims.

Our investigators are trained in a broad range of skills, from records and information retrieval to civil and criminal law to surveillance. The work may require many long hours of vehicular and other surveillance, and is generally attractive to those who like to work independently and enjoy variety.

It is our policy to promote from within. All of our managers started off as trainee investigators, and for those who excel there are potential management opportunities. We have a reputation as one of the industry's best and most prestigious investigation firms. Our stability is reflected our long-standing relationships with virtually every major insurer in the industry as well as the tenure of our investigative staff.

All newly hired investigators, even those with extensive experience, participate in a fully paid training program custom tailored to their individual needs. The program includes one-on-one or classroom instruction, independent study, and serious field training alongside top senior investigators. Trainees also work closely with management until they become proficient at handling a full caseload on their own. Additionally, as part of ongoing training, all investigators attend periodic investigator meetings at their district office. Investigators are provided with all the necessary surveillance and communication equipment, as well as sponsorship of their licensing. Seasoned investigators are encouraged to keep up with current trends by attending adult education classes and/or industry-related seminars.
